Bruce Timpano
Resource Forester
406-677-2201 Ext. 43

Bruce Timpano sees a forester as being in a unique position because he has the opportunity to work in his backyard, helping people make sound decisions which are beneficial to them as well as to the land they own. With nearly a quarter of a century with Pyramid Mountain Lumber and honored as the Field Forester of the Year in 2005 by the MT Chapter of Society of American Foresters, landowners can trust what Bruce has to say regarding management of their land.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire in 1966, Bruce continued expanding his education with graduate credits in Wildlife Management at the University of Montana. He continues his ardent interest in forestry as a member of the Society of American Foresters.

Bruce purchases timber, administers sales contracts, marks property boundary location, oversees road construction, cruises timber, conducts harvest inspection, thinning, sale appraisals, slash burning, road maintenance, and snow plowing. In other words, Bruce is happiest out in the field and not behind his desk!
